Created annually, this report provides a comprehensive analysis of peace trends and their economic value in each country, as well as whether peaceful societies can be developed. The ranking covers 99.7% of the world's population, ranking a total of 163 independent territories and countries.
According to the report for the year 2023, Portugal was appointed as one of the most attractive and safe countries in the world, ranking in the Top 10. Occupying the seventh position, it is highly sought after by international tourists and emigrants, as it offers a great quality of life, mild climate, beautiful landscapes and various tax benefits.
